Request your child's data
Under UK GDPR you have the right to see, correct, delete, or receive a copy of all data we hold about your child. Here's how.
Email us
Send a short email to deen.team.09.2020@gmail.com with one of the following requests:
- "I'd like to see what data you hold about my son [name]."
- "Please correct the following information about my son [name]: ..."
- "Please send me a copy of all data about my son [name] in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV)."
- "Please delete my son [name]'s account and all his data. I am withdrawing my consent."
- "Please restrict the processing of my son [name]'s data."
What we'll do
- We'll reply within 30 days, as UK GDPR requires.
- We will check that you are the parent on file before acting on the request.
- If you ask for deletion or consent withdrawal: we will delete the account and all related data (group memberships, homework, questions, passport entries, chat messages, login codes, notifications) within 30 days. Chat your son sent in group rooms with other boys is auto-deleted after 10 days anyway.
- If you ask for a copy: you'll receive a JSON file by email.
- The service is free.

If we don't respond, or you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or call 0303 123 1113.
